This silk painting was inspired by a recent trip to South Africa where I incorporated lots of what I saw into the design of the wings. Animals, oceans etc. I love horses and they are often a subject of my work.

Master Silk Painter
The title Master Silk Painter is awarded to those artists who have demonstrated remarkable skills, unsurpassed excellence and exquisite artistry in silk painting. This is the highest level of membership that can be obtained by an artist in SPIN (Silk Painters International), an international organization of silk painters. SPIN authorizes the artist to use the initials MSP after their name to indicate that in the eyes of their artistic peer and the world, the artist is a master silk painter.
