A silk painting inspired by one of my trips to the Peruvian Amazon. I’ve been there 7 times and often paint the rainforest. I fly into Iquitos and take a boat about 5 hours into the jungle to a lodge.

Master Silk Painter
The title Master Silk Painter is awarded to those artists who have demonstrated remarkable skills, unsurpassed excellence and exquisite artistry in silk painting. This is the highest level of membership that can be obtained by an artist in SPIN (Silk Painters International), an international organization of silk painters. SPIN authorizes the artist to use the initials MSP after their name to indicate that in the eyes of their artistic peer and the world, the artist is a master silk painter.
