About Me

Who Am I?

I’m Linnea Pergola, a painter and textile artist originally from Los Angeles, with a lifelong passion for bringing the beauty of nature to life through my work. Over the years, my art has been sold internationally, and publicly exhibited across the United States, as well as in Switzerland, Germany, Puerto Rico, and Qatar. My love for the natural world is the heartbeat of my art, which often features intricate depictions of animals and birds. Beyond creating art, I’m a passionate advocate for animal rights, using my pieces to highlight the importance of protecting wildlife and addressing the injustices they face. My process involves working with pencils, charcoal, watercolors, and ink to create highly detailed compositions on both paper and fabric.

Recently, my partner, Michael, and I embarked on an exciting new chapter by moving to South Africa. We had the privilege of volunteering at the Thula Thula Private Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, where we connected deeply with the incredible wildlife and conservation efforts. For now, we’re settling into life in the beautiful coastal town of Hermanus while planning to build our dream home in Plettenberg Bay, a place that already inspires so much of my creativity.

My collection of artwork followed me to South Africa, which will allows me to continue shipping my pieces to collectors around the world. Very excited about this new phase of my journey and to be able to continue creating art that celebrates the beauty and importance of the natural world

My Passions

I’ve been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember—it’s always been at the core of who I am. The journey has been both rewarding and challenging, but it’s one I wouldn’t trade for anything. My art career began with Martin Lawrence Galleries, which, at the time, was based in Van Nuys, California. Since those early days, I’ve worked with several art publishers, and my serigraphs and giclees have been printed and distributed around the globe, reaching collectors and art enthusiasts far and wide.

Today, I’m fortunate to collaborate with Liberty Puzzles, who use some of my images for their high-end puzzle line. It’s exciting to see my artwork transformed into intricately crafted puzzles that bring joy to people in a completely different way. I also have the pleasure of working with Galerie-F in Germany. They not only print my images but also create unique and playful 3D prints that bring a new dimension to my work. You can see more of their creations at http://www.galerie-f.de
